Meri Smalstig

Meri has dedicated herself to living a healthy lifestyle, for herself and her son.  As a certified instructor and as an experienced marathon runner (5 Marathons, including 2 Boston Marathons & 10 Half Marathons) and coach, Meri hopes to mentor, encourage and empower ALL parents to see and feel the strength they didn’t know they had. As the parent of a special needs child, Meri has chosen to take the strengths she has been given to inspire others to be the best they can be.  Life requires strength inside and out.  Parenthood is a daily challenge.  Words cannot adequately describe the additional trials a mom faces raising a child with severe autism.   It takes mental strength to build courage to face the emotional fears that autism brings.  It takes physical strength to build the stamina to handle the behaviors, tantrums, and late nights.  Having both mental and physical strength translates to the hope and optimism necessary to fight through another day for a brighter future.  Meri is committed to helping other parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists and friends GET STRONG TO BE STRONGTM.  In her mission, her goal is to help others feel good about themselves, so they can give back to their special kids

Jennifer Bork, AFAA, IYCA

Jennifer is a Certified Youth Fitness Specialist through IYCA and a nationally certified group exercise instructor through AFAA who truly believes that fitness should be fun and for life! The passion for healthy lifestyles cannot start too early, and the world needs more healthy passionate people. Jennifer’s classes are designed to prevent injury and enable young athletes to learn skills that help them advance in sports. Strength, speed, agility, balance, endurance and good sportsmanship coupled with respect and fun make students, parents, and coaches very happy.

Billy Bonsangue, NASM, AFAA

Billy Bonsangue is an NASM CPT and AFAA group fitness instructor in Southern California.  Enthusiastic, compassionate and motivating, Billy utilizes an integrated approach to training that is fun,functional and innovative. He specializes in high energy workouts incorporating  traditional strength training techniques combined with elements of balance and flexibility  from his extensive professional dance background which spans over two decades. Billy has also trained in martial arts and fitness boxing and  places a strong emphasis on core training and endurance. This versatile trainer has appeared in numerous productions on stage, film and TV and is  the published author of the children's book,"The Nightmare Navigator".

Marizol Ortiz

Marizol is a Zumba, Yoga and belly dance instructor.  Having a passion for all types of dance at an early age, Marizol started teaching Zumba two years ago combing fitness with easy-to-follow-fun dance steps for all ages.  As a professional belly dancer, Marizol has also been practicing yoga to help with flexibility and strengthening for 8 years and started teaching the benefits of yoga after receiving her certification through YogaWorks in 2010.

Helen Flechner

Helen Flechner is an AFAA certified instructor and teaches Turbo Kick, PiYo Strength, Hip Hop Hustle, and resistance training.  She believes that fitness is a key element of happiness and confidence.  Helen loves helping people become fit and healthy, and have fun while they are doing it!  Helen has three kids, ages 7, 10, and 12 who keep her busy when she's not teaching.

Karen Moore

Karen Moore was born and raised in Peru, where she grew up dancing to Latin and African music.  From a young age she developed a passion for fitness, becoming an aerobic instructor at age 16. Karen is an avid runner and an outdoor lover!  After going to college to pursue a career as an Environmentalist, her life path changed.  When traveling in California, she met her husband, John, a local Huntington Beach surfer and started a family.  After a few years of being a full time stay at home mom, she returned to her career in the fitness world to follow her dreams.  Karen loves to work with others and help them with their overall wellness goals.  She is certified in Barre, Zumba, PiYo, Yoga, and RIPPED.  Her specialty is combining different formats to achieve the best results through safe workouts for all fitness levels.

Britton Vallee

Britton was born in a small town near New Orleans, LA. She grew up on a farm riding horses and dirt bikes, going fishing, and other past times typical of a small town country girl.  In 2005 Britton moved to Los Angeles and established a successful modeling career.  It was in L.A. where she began her personal training career that has now taken her to O.C.  She brings her experience and motivation to every workout. Her professionalism and courtesy ensures her clients comfort and confidence.  She tries to make every workout unique and exciting...never boring! Her most gratifying moments are seeing the joy in the faces of her clients as they collecitively reach goals together.

Nicole Arnold

Nicole has been a fitness enthusiast and athlete for most of her life- from playing competitive volleyball, basketball, and track in college to managing an all womans gym for over 6 years.  Nicole is a certified Personal Trainer and Life Coach through AAAI and mentored directly under David-Dorian Ross- an industry expert, author, and seven time World Tai Chi Champion.  Nicole's fitness philosphy includes making exercise a FUN habit and therefore sustainable for a lifetime.  The holistic approach focuses on the body as a metaphor: When we retrain the body we retrain the mind as well. Overcoming limiting self-beliefs ultimately leads us all to greater peace, joy, and happiness in life


Talia  is a certified group fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer (AFAA, NASM ) She also holds cerifications in Turbokick, Piyo, Zumba, and Hip hop Hustle. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is passionate about fitness and holds the belief that fitness should be fun and positive. In her spare time Talia brings her love for fitness in to schools by teaching aerobics and dance classses to children and parents. Everyone can find enjoyment in fitness. Talia will help you find the type of exercise that works best for you.
